As a professional Graphic Designer for more than 45yrs, Penny enjoys working with colour, texture and patterns and attention to detail in representative or graphic style, using her drawing skills and photographic reference .

Having moved to the Southern Highlands, NSW in 2000 Penny immersed herself in painting and exhibiting her work, while absorbing the talents and inspiration from other local artists. Watercolour, gouache and mixed media are her preferred genres with drawing, design and pattern incorporated seamlessly. Painting miniatures has created another challenge to the mastering of these mediums and techniques, with family pets surrounded by favourite memorabilia, any quirky animal related portrayal, travel landscapes and still life of collection of treasured objects, floral arrangements or natural flotsam.
