Started drawing 2023 - completed year 12 art in 1970 and went nursing. Did no art again until 2023 when I retired aged 70 and wanted to learn to do watercolour painting at an evening community centre. Struggled with the concept and began to draw portraits in graphite and then colour pencil. Arty has been a wonderful therapy for me since loosing my beloved partner in March 2024.
I look forward to my Wednesday evening group and have learnt so much from the teacher and collegues. I intend having another crack at watercolour painting soon!!!
As I live on my own my dining table is my desk instead of using the office!!!!!!!!!
