I am a creative type personality and have always had a project on the go be it drawing or painting in acrylics. My mum introduced me to soft pastels when I was in my late 20's and I have never looked back and I now consider myself a soft pastel artist.I am passionate about Australian wildlife and in particular, birds. I find the vibrant colour of pastels better capture the heart andsoul of the subject and using the pencils enables me to capture the fine details that painting with a brush didn't allow. |
