ARTIST BIO

A post-graduate Chemical Engineer by profession and working as a senior Project engineer in Melbourne, Nazi treated art as a form of a creative outlet, which she used as a conduit to broaden her vision of the world and her compassion to beauty. At a tender age, she was inspired by her uncle who painted oil colour copies of well-known artists who introduced her to the fascinating world of art. She continued practising self-taught till entering the university. Having a great passion for art, Nazi started academic drawing education with Manouchehr Motabar, who is one the most well-known artists of Iran and globally, as well. Nazi's great attention to details and perseverance as well as the passion for the creation resulted in her rapid development of advanced drawing skills, which were always admired by her instructor. Nazi has employed drawing and painting as a moment to celebrate the being, meditating, touching her soul, and experiencing her other dimensions. Most of her artworks are pure drawings, performed using colour-pencils, water-colour, ink, and fibre tip pen from still life.
