About the Rotary Club of Frankston

< Previous

The Rotary Club of Frankston was formed 73 years ago and over that time has provided continuous support to the local community.

Our Club supports a range of local community, national and international projects and the generation of funds to support these projects involves all members.

Some of our more recent achievements include:

  • Contributing to the worldwide elimination of polio through the global End Polio Now Campaign.
  • A donation of $20,000 towards the purchase of a Pre-Natal Ultrasound Machine for Frankston Hospital.
  • Founding and ongoing management of the Seaford Farmers Market, between 2008 and 2023.
  • Supporting the establishment and providing ongoing support for the Frankston Community Garden including the installation of a disabled toilet.
  • A donation of $20,000 to Community Support Frankston to support and prevent homelessness.
  • A donation of $15,000 to the VICSES Frankston Unit to assist in purchasing a replacement of an ageing 4X4 operational vehicle
